Jeff Smith is a metal artist whose work bridges centuries old craftsmanship with contemporary design. Working in corten, carbon and stainless steel, he transforms raw metal into sculptural pieces that balance ruggedness and refinement.
In 2007, Jeff founded Hammersmith Metal Works, with 25 years of experience as a graphic designer. That foundation in composition, form and visual storytelling shapes his distinctive artistic voice.
Inspired by majestic Canadian landscapes and native wildlife, Jeff’s work reflects a deep connection to nature. Each piece is designed to live beautifully in homes, gardens and outdoor spaces.
Jeff honed his craft at the Haliburton School of Arts and Thak Ironworks in Floridale, Ontario. Today he creates from his studio nestled among the fresh water springs and rolling hills of Mulmur, Ontario - a setting that continues to inspire the spirit of his work
